IKAREM Creaciones en Hilo
Hello! My name is Yalixa. I am the designer and creator of IKAREM Creaciones en Hilo. I live in the town of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. My business began as a simple idea and motivated by some members of my family I decided to make it come true. Today it has become something special that I really enjoy doing. One of the things that distinguishes me and makes my accesories unique is the crochet technique. The main material I use is yarn and in turn I combine it with jewelry beading.
Hidden in the word IKAREM there is a meaning.
IKAREM conversely is "MERAKI" and means "putting the soul, creativity and love in what is done; leaving a piece of you always in your work".
That is precisely what I hope to convey in each of my creations.
